The Titans hailing from a “secret realm” deep beneath the surface of the Earth could have massive repercussions for both the movie and the MonsterVerse as a whole. First of all, it could mean that the movie’s real villain isn’t Mechagodzilla but the Titans they may find down there; one of them could be the winged serpent from Playmates’ Godzilla vs. Kong toyline. Not much is known about this monster, apart from his name, Warbat. This monster may be incredibly dangerous, especially if he was the secret Titan teased by the King of the Monsters credits. Early toy leaks indicated that his name was Nozuki, but it may be that there are actually two of them who have slightly different appearances.
Discovering the origin of the Titans could have a lasting impact on the MonsterVerse that goes beyond Godzilla vs. Kong. What they find may provide setup for future MonsterVerse movies. Godzilla: King of the Monsters already implied that the number of known Titans will continue to go up, but it may go up even higher once this “secret realm” is found. As previously noted, most of the Titans may have left long ago, but plenty could still be down there.
